Clearly the sensible thing this evening would have been to watch at least one of the DVDs that are due back on Saturday, after a gruelling working day whose logical conclusion ought to be a very early night.
Instead your humble author finds herself drinking the Stoneleigh that she bought on special a few hours ago, cooing over the puppies (whose eyes are now open) and dancing around to New Order. The adult dogs look on in anthropomorphic disapproval, as they invariably do when pop and dancing interrupt their routes and routines.
